Unfortunately, parking is our biggest weakness at this event venue, and we ask for your patience in navigating our limited parking options. We apologize in advance that parking space is limited and thank you in advance for your understanding. After the spots in front of the GO Center have been filled, we ask that you please park first behind Mama Carmen's (the coffee shop 2 doors down to the left of the GO center). Please do NOT park in front of 'RNR' tires, but you can park as far down the mall area as the medical center (up college avenue further north). Additionally, there is a large parking lot across college avenue that can be used.
If at all possible, we would encourage you to carpool with fellow participants to maximize the available spaces. Thank you again for your understanding!

Attachment Theory in Practice
As a participant of this year’s externship, you will receive a copy of Sue Johnson’s new clinical text at registration!
Drawing on the cutting-edge research on adult attachment and providing an innovative roadmap for clinical practice, Susan M. Johnson argues that psychotherapy is most effective when it focuses on the healing power of emotional connection. The primary developer of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Johnson now extends her attachment-based approach to individuals and families. The volume shows how EFT aligns perfectly with attachment theory as it provides proven techniques for treating anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. Each modality (individual, couple, and family therapy) is covered in paired chapters that respectively introduce key concepts and present an in-depth case example. Special features include instructive end-of-chapter exercises and reflection questions.
