About the Training:
While enactments are emphasized as a pivotal part of the EFT couples' process, there is a lot of confusion around how to set up the most attuned enactments that will lead to the corrective emotional experiences we are looking for. Megan and Julia are putting to practice their almost 20 years of combined years of EFT experience to clarify how to best set up your clients for success in their enactments. We will be considering the different steps and stages and how enactments can best be adjusted to meet the clients where they are and promote more flexibility in the couples' future conversations.
Participants will be able to...
1. Identify the different purposes for facilitating enactments.
2. Recognize how the clients' presentation (highly escalated, more emotionally available, etc.) should adjust the goals for our enactments.
3. Gain additional language for how to set couples up for success in facilitating the enactments and processing them.
4. Practice basic skills for facilitating corrective emotional experiences.
*Must have completed Externship
